NEW BALANCE 1500 FOR AUTUMN/WINTER 2015

Starting life in 1989 as part of a lineup of basketball, tennis and training shoes, the iconic silhouette has evolved over the last 26 years, embracing new technologies and fabrics as New Balance continue to propel the shoe forward with new, up-to-date designs.

For Autumn/Winter 2015 the 'Made in England' edition makes a return thanks to the talents of the workers at the Flimby factory. For the new season, this iconic shoe has been reworked with burgundy, black and grey uppers, teal leather and mesh detailing, finished with reflective branding and toe stripe.

Below you can see the 'Re-Engineered' 1500 with a more technical and contemporary approach, crafted from suede and leather, featuring a seamless toe box, RevLite midsole and natural leather heel.

SB BARNYARD PIN BADGE

Lately we've seen the resurgence of DIY / Bootleg culture, so when we spotted this simple enamel pin badge on our travels we had to add it to our growing collection of pins and patches.

Based on the iconic artwork for Mike Vallely's Barnyard “double kick” deck for World Industries, all you 90's skaters will remember this one.

"In 1989, wearing hand-me-down Airwalks covered in ShoeGOO and not really knowing what to do with Sex Wax, I turned to the back pages of RAD Magazine and based on the artwork alone, I ordered Mike Vallely's Barnyard deck from Rollersnakes. 26 years later, the iconic board is still one of the most important deck designs in the history of skateboarding."

WOOD WOOD - AUTUMN/WINTER 2015

Our latest delivery welcomes the Danish brand, Wood Wood to the FUSShop family, with more to come in the coming weeks.

Its founders grew up with graffiti and street culture in the 90's where style was key. They mix high fashion, sports and streetwear with youth culture, art and music creating the best possible product balanced between style and function. Best described as Contemporary Streetwear, Wood Wood has looked beyond just fashion and is making its mark with a strong sports component, combined with the brand's ability to move up and down the fashion spectrum.

The Wood Wood attitude combines fashion conscious sophistication with urban roots in an unpretentious manner and our local base on Nørrebro in Copenhagen, Denmark is evident in the brand's attitude. A global mindset has allowed us to develop a multitude of partnerships and throughout the years Wood Wood has made more than 50 collaborations with renowned global brands such as Nike, LEGO, Barbour, Eastpak and Adidas as well as niche brands and artists such as Peter Sutherland, Elmgreen & Dragset, So-Me and FUZI UVTPK.

Always aiming to find the perfect balance between style and functionality, the Wood Wood collections have evolved into tailored and sophisticated expressions, while keeping their playful graphic profile that often revolves around juxtapositions and iconography.

CHAMPION REVERSE WEAVE - SPRING/SUMMER 2015

Skating (badly) in the 90's, the embroidered Champion logo became a status symbol for many of us, regardless of how ill-fitting their sweaters were back then. As we got older, the realisation that we couldn't possibly look good in a sweater with arms twice the length of the body soon dawned on us and it was time to move on.

Thankfully, 20 years later, Champion is back for Spring/Summer 2015 with new improved fits, collaborations with the likes of Supreme and Wood Wood, and the same reverse weave technology that made Champion great in the first place.

Online now, we have a selection of basic tees, sweatshirts, track pants and jackets.
